Maybe I’m odd (ok delete “maybe”) but I never have problems with shitty first drafts. What usually happens is that when I read it or perform it time and time more and more things to be edited pop up.
So it’s more subtle with me - my first draft is more like a skid mark that takes constant washing to remove.
